- Market the risk: to insurers that write your type of business
- Explain the quote: including exclusions that matter for your work
- Service through the year: certificates, changes and renewal reviews

Frequently asked questions
How fast can I get a certificate of insurance?
Once a policy is in place, certificates can usually be issued quickly. New policies depend on the insurer’s underwriting, so start before the contract deadline when you can.
What is the difference between general liability and professional liability?
General liability covers bodily injury and property damage. Professional liability covers financial loss to clients from errors or omissions in your professional services. Many businesses need both.
